Sheep Dog Hosts Ribbon Cutting for their Heroes Ranch Training Facility
Sheep Dog Impact Assistance (SDIA) had the grand opening and ribbon cutting of The Ranch this last month. They celebrated expansions of the buildings on campus as part of their Warrior PATHH programming to help even more veterans and first responders turn post traumatic stress into post traumatic growth.
JUNK was invited to the Grand Opening and a luncheon with all Sheep Dog’s sponsors, which we were honored to be involved in and join them in their monumental celebration.
Sheep Dog has been going strong and ramping up to help even more veterans and first responders. They opened a new hall, two lodges and a classroom with commemorations.
Tuskegee Hall named after a group of African-American military pilots from WWII that flew with couragea and skill. They shattered stereotypes and “their legacy stands as a testament to their determination and resilience.”
Officer Kevin Apple Lodge named after Kevin Apple, a Pea Ridge, Arkansas police officer who lost his life while protecting his community with bravery and commitment. “[His] sacrifice serves as a reminder of the dangers faced by law enforcement officers every day...”
SGT Nicole Gee Lodge was dedicated in memory of United States Marine Corps member, SSgt Nicole Gee, who lost her life in an Adghanistan airport bombing. “Her bravery serves as a reminder of the sacrifices made by military personnel in the pursuit of peace and freedom.
SFC Eric Emond Classroom was dedicated to Sgt First Class Eric Emond, a Marine who lost his life in Afghanistan. ”His legacy will forever be remembered, honoring his profound sacrifice... inspiring future generations to emulate his unwavering commitment to duty and honor.”
Guest speakers included Lance Nutt, SDIA CEO & Founder, Brian Rohauer from Senator Boozman’s Office, Piper Brintnall from the Veterans United Foundation, Tracy Dyfault from Walmart and SDIA Board Vice President, and Josh Goldberg from Boulder Crest Foundation.
Sheep Dog is making phase 2 plans to continue to expand the ranch and serve as many veterans and first responders as possible.
