Judith Hamer, or Jude as she's better known, is what we in the athletic headband industry would call a total badass. A wheelchair basketball player, two-time Paralympian, world and European medallist with a Bachelor of Science in Biochemistry and a Master of Science in Pharmacology/Biotechnology. Jude is an outstanding role model for people with disabilities, the LGBT+ community, and women as a whole.

Our social media manager Brenton Roggow got to have a chat with Jude, asking questions about her pastime in the world of athletics - like her Paralympic involvements and that time she trekked the Andes (no, seriously, this lady is a badass). While also touching on subjects that range to the more personal. Like Jude finding "Love in the Time of COVID" with girlfriend and fellow Paralympian Lauren Rowles. And what it was like beginning their relationship online.
