We watched the Knights Beat the Panthers

The Panthers and the Knights both put up a (few) good fight(s) but ultimately VGS won out. This would have been a historic victory for either team as neither had won the Stanley Cup trophy.

The Las Vegas Golden Knights journey to the Stanley cup was not easy. While they’ve only been a club for six years, this is their second time fighting for the victory since their inception, but their first overall win.

There was immense pressure on the Knights to make it to the playoffs. They stayed true in Game 2 of the final that they don’t mind a comeback. They didn’t let the Panther’s draw penalties and played as clean as they could. We all love a good scrum but appreciate a team that’s there for the simple sport of it.

We Went to the GoPro Games

We had an incredible weekend at the GoPro Mountain Games, where JUNK had the opportunity to connect with both loyal customers and enthusiastic newcomers. We witnessed our headbands worn by athletes who were rock climbing, cycling, running, and doing the craziest things there were to do in Vail.

Equally gratifying was the participation of our entire team as athletes in the competitions. At JUNK, we prioritize staying active and fostering a culture of physical fitness. We saw the pure joy expressed by everyone to be together, sharing commonality in movement and the great outdoors.

We Went to the Dam Slam

The aerobic exercise that’s taken the nation by storm. Not only is this game a blast, it’s amazing exercise and the pickleball workout setting on your Apple Watch will count up all those calories. You work muscles but it’s not a contact sport- you become more agile and can improve your balance. Aerobic exercise is also known to hype up your heart health. Play hard and move however feels good and makes you happy.

We stopped by the inaugural Dam Slam and witnessed some trash talk, some dinks, and gave away a few JUNK Headbands.
